At Dollar Health Centre, some of our clinicians use Heidi, a secure AI-powered clinical documentation tool, to help create notes during consultations.

Heidi listens to the conversation between you and your clinician and produces a draft summary of what was discussed. This summary is used to help the clinician complete the medical record accurately and efficiently. The clinician remains responsible for your care and will always review, edit and approve the notes before they are added to your medical record.

The aim of using Heidi is to reduce the time clinicians spend typing and administrative work, allowing them to focus more fully on listening to patients and providing care during the consultation.

Your privacy and confidentiality are very important to us. Heidi is designed for use in healthcare settings and processes information securely in accordance with relevant data protection and confidentiality requirements. Heidi does not make diagnoses, recommend treatments, or make any clinical decisions. It is simply a tool to assist with documentation.

Participation is entirely voluntary. If you would prefer Heidi not to be used during your consultation, please tell your clinician and it will be switched off.

If you have any questions about how Heidi is used at our practice, please speak to a member of our team.
