Supporting people living with a disability

We will endeavour to ensure that people living with a disability can access services easily.  Please let us know how we can help or support your particular needs.  A large print or an audio cassette version the Practice Leaflet can be arranged.  All the public areas including the waiting room, consulting rooms and toilets are suitable for wheelchairs, and there is a wheelchair available to use beside reception. A hearing loop is in place at the front reception desk.  Designated disabled parking spaces are located nearest to the entrance to the Health Centre.

If you need additional assistance please let us know.

Services for Patients with Communication Problems
The language spoken by all members of the team at the practice is English. We can arrange interpreter services for patients whose do not speak or have limited English language skills. We can also arrange for sign language interpreters for those with speech difficulties.

If you wish to make use of any of these services please let a member of the team know in advance and we can arrange for them to be available at your appointment.  Information in other languages about accessing NHS services can be found at: http://www.healthinmylanguage.com/nhs-services.aspx
